Our Purpose

Provide a place for local Unschooling parents to share resources, socialize, build community, and support each other - both online and in person.
 

Help fellow Unschooling parents comply with New York State's overbearing homeschool laws, including reporting regulations and assessment requirements.
 

Seek and share info regarding budget-friendly educational opportunities in the Hudson Valley area that are of interest to Unschooling families.
 

Offer opportunities to Unschooled children of mixed ages and diverse backgrounds to socialize, learn from each other, play together, and explore the natural attractions of the beautiful Hudson Valley.
 

Connect children to mentors and community resources that will help them pursue their personal interests and self-education.
 

Empower families to choose Unschooling as a viable alternative to public schooling and reduce the stigma associated with choosing homeschooling in general.
