Why Join?

Joining HRVU will gain you access to the members-only section of the website.

• Access to the Forum where we can discuss all things Unschooling - from book recommendations to dealing with your school district. 

• Access to the HRVU Events Calendar where we can organize Free Play get-togethers and other activities as a community.

• Access to members-only Resources, such as sample Letters of Intent and IHIPs (coming soon). 

• Help us create a new community dedicated to self-directed education.  Collaborate and socialize with local Unschooling families through HRVU.

• It's currently FREE to join HRVU.

If you are interested in joining the Hudson River Valley Unschoolers group, please fill out the below questionnaire.  This helps us determine whether your education goals and intentions are in line with our group's vision.  You will be contacted in the near future once your responses have been reviewed.

Membership is Free

Currently there are no membership fees (nor cooperative obligations) for joining HRVU - this is an entirely volunteer-operated and FREE group. But we do ask that you kindly make a pay-what-you-can donation to help offset administrative costs of hosting the HRVU website and facilitating this group.  As a fledgling organization, you can help us gain momentum and grow this community.
